Hanya is a multidisciplinary visual artist working in a variety of media including painting, photography, sculpture, installation, video, and most recently augmented reality. She received two Bachelor Degrees in Visual Arts and Integrated Marketing Communication from The American University in Cairo, and a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from Central Saint Martins, University of Arts in London. Hanya has participated in and curated several group exhibitions, in London and Cairo. She has been working as a Senior Curator in Art D'Egypte since June 2019, and as an Associate Lecturer in Central Saint Martins since October 2022.
